ADMISSIONS PROCESS

  1. To arrange a visit to the school, please schedule a tour along with a brief meeting to share information. During this meeting, we will review your child's academic performance and address any disciplinary issues from their previous school.

  2. If your child is accepted, please complete the admissions application along with a $50 application fee.

3. To inform the Georgia Department of Education of your decision to homeschool your child, please visit their website and navigate to the homeschool section to complete the "Declaration of Intent." It is essential to provide a copy of this letter for LHG's records.

4. Please choose the days of the week that best suit your child's schedule. Our sessions are held from Tuesday to Friday, with some students attending four days a week while others come in for two to three days.

5. Every student must possess a tablet or laptop to engage in the LHGS Homeschool Program. This requirement ensures that all participants have the necessary tools to access course materials and complete assignments effectively.

6. Lithonia Homeschool Group SCHOLARS follows the academic calendar established by DeKalb County Schools and aligns its curriculum with the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
