Lithonia Homeschool Group Scholars was founded in 2003 to provide Metro Atlanta families with meaningful educational alternatives and academic support outside of the traditional public school system.

While preparing for the LSAT and working as a substitute teacher within the Atlanta Public Schools System, founder [Your Name] observed growing challenges within the classroom environment, including student disengagement, behavioral disruptions, and a lack of accountability that often interfered with learning outcomes. Rather than simply criticizing the system, he chose to become part of the solution.

Drawing from his educational experience, youth mentorship background, and degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University, he established Lithonia Homeschool Group Scholars with a vision of creating a structured, supportive, and empowering learning environment for students and families seeking a different educational path.

His experience coaching youth sports also strengthened his ability to mentor and lead young people, helping students build discipline, confidence, teamwork, and academic focus. What began as a response to concerns within traditional education evolved into a long-standing commitment to serving families throughout Metro Atlanta through homeschooling support, educational enrichment, mentorship, and individualized learning opportunities.

Today, Lithonia Homeschool Group Scholars continues to provide students with an alternative educational environment centered on academic growth, character development, parental involvement, and community empowerment.
